Job summary

Capgemini is expanding its Solution Architecture team in the United Kingdom. You will shape solution architectures for clients, providing technical leadership from early design through delivery and go-live.

You will collaborate across Capgemini’s UK and India teams and engage with engagement managers and executives to design innovative, cloud-native solutions. This role emphasizes end-to-end ownership, architectural governance, and delivering scalable, secure applications in hybrid delivery

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of AWS for delivery of cloud-native solutions.
• A strong background in open-source technologies and frameworks; API-centric architecture, and experience of designing scalable, resilient and secure applications.
• Microservice-based architectures using domain driven design, event sourcing patterns and containerisation technologies.
• Exposure to and some experience of working with structured architecture approaches such as TOGAF or SAFe.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of shaping solutions & defining the right architectural approach.
• Collaborate closely with our engineering teams to ensure our solutions are built to reflect your solution vision and make the best use of current development practices.
• Be a trusted technology adviser to our clients as well as to Capgemini colleagues.
• You will forge close working relationships with our architecture and engineering teams in UK and India, and with engagement managers and account executives.
