Job summary

Capgemini in the United Kingdom is seeking a Solution Architect to define and shape architectures for enterprise-scale projects. You will lead end-to-end design, assess technical risk, and guide delivery from early concept through go-live, partnering with UK and India teams.

You’ll work with AWS, open-source tech, API-centric architectures, and microservices, collaborating with engineers, engagement managers and account teams.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of AWS for delivery of cloud-native solutions.
• A strong background in open-source technologies and frameworks; API-centric architecture, and experience of designing scalable, resilient and secure applications.
• Microservice-based architectures using domain driven design, event sourcing patterns and containerisation technologies.
• Exposure to and some experience of working with structured architecture approaches such as TOGAF or SAFe.

Responsibilities

• Work on some of the most leading edge cloud-native architectures in development today.
• Take end-to-end ownership of shaping solutions & defining the right architectural approach.
• Collaborate closely with our engineering teams to ensure our solutions are built to reflect your solution vision and make the best use of current development practices.
• Be a trusted technology adviser to our clients as well as to Capgemini colleagues.
