Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Cloud/DevOps Engineer to design, build and maintain cloud-native infrastructure on AWS. You will develop IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation or AWS CDK and work with React/TypeScript and Python applications.

You will containerize with Docker and Kubernetes, and build CI/CD pipelines while improving observability and security. This role focuses on scalable, secure platforms, incident response and governance, with opportunities to define cloud standards and automate

Qualifications

• Hands-on AWS experience in production environments.
• Designing and operating cloud-native applications and infrastructure.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation or CDK).
• Strong knowledge of AWS services including IAM, VPC, EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, RDS and S3.
• Experience supporting modern web applications built with React and TypeScript.
• Experience working with backend services developed in Python.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of observability, monitoring and logging practices.
• Knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices.
• Experience in consulting or client-facing environments is a plus.
