Job summary

Sanderson in the United Kingdom is seeking an Infrastructure/Cloud Architect (AWS) to own and develop the technical architecture for the client's infrastructure. This hybrid role involves collaboration across security, engineering and architecture teams to ensure secure, scalable platforms with cost efficiency.

The role requires leading designs for secure, scalable infrastructure and advising on migration strategies, cloud-native and hybrid solutions.

Qualifications

In-depth infrastructure expertise across security, networking, databases and storage.
Experience with Windows (Unix OS desirable).
Exposure to AWS and cloud-native/hybrid platforms.
Knowledge of virtualization, containerization and orchestration.
Experience migrating to hybrid and cloud-native platforms and governance.

Responsibilities

Mature infrastructure architecture, defining standards and best practices for deployment and management.
Develop and maintain reference architecture assets, roadmaps and blueprints.
Lead secure, scalable infrastructure designs focusing on resilience and cost efficiency.
Collaborate with security, compliance, and engineering teams for integration with platforms.
Develop governance for infrastructure and cloud capabilities.
Advise on migration strategies and platform solutions, cloud native and hybrid.
Mentor technical teams on design best practices, DevOps and IaC approaches.
Ensure ISO 27001 and PCI DSS compliance.
