Job summary

DXC Luxoft Financial Services is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Architect with a strong Java background to lead a major cloud modernization and migration program for Capital Markets platforms. You will design and deliver enterprise-scale AWS solutions, modernize Java/Spring applications, and establish governance, security, and DevOps practices across the organization.

The role requires deep AWS expertise, hands-on Java development, and a track record in regulated financial environments.

Qualifications

• Cloud & Architecture: design and deliver enterprise-scale AWS solutions.
• Experience migrating applications and infrastructure to AWS.
• Deep knowledge of AWS Well-Architected Framework principles.
• Experience with EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS/Aurora, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, Route53, SQS/SNS, Secrets Manager.
• IaC with Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Java & Spring Boot: modernizing and re-platforming legacy Java apps.
• Distributed systems and cloud-native design.

We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Architect with a strong Java background to join a strategic cloud modernization and migration program for a major financial services client.In this role, you will lead the architecture and delivery of large-scale AWS migration initiatives, helping transform complex trading and post-trade platforms from legacy environments into modern, scalable, cloud-native solutions. You will work closely with engineering, infrastructure, security, and business stakeholders to define migration strategies, modernize applications, and establish cloud best practices across the organization.The ideal candidate combines deep AWS architecture expertise with hands-on Java experience and a strong understanding of Capital Markets platforms, trading workflows, and financial technology environments.
