Job summary

The International Rescue Committee is seeking two Program Development & Award Advisors to support the West and Central Africa region. The roles involve managing awards, ensuring donor compliance, and delivering high-quality donor deliverables across humanitarian, recovery and development programs.

Ideal candidates will have strong donor rules knowledge, experience coordinating with country offices and partners, and the ability to work across busy teams in a fast-paced NGO setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in International Relations, Development Studies or related field.
• Fluency in English and French, both spoken and written.
• Strong understanding of humanitarian aid and development programming.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, fast-paced team.
• Excellent financial management and budgeting skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of awards for the WACAR region.
• Provide narrative and financial reporting support and ensure donor compliance.
• Guide country offices on partner management policies and PEER system compliance.
• Coordinate with RPAS and AMU teams to ensure timely information flow.
• Support business development and proposal development in the region.
