Job summary

Enaahtig Healing Lodge & Learning Centre is seeking an Awake Night Attendant to monitor clients, ensure overnight security, and support housekeeping and administration. You will work under the North Lodge Program Manager and Executive Director, with potential day shifts when not in program to support prep and housekeeping.

The role requires flexibility for night shifts on weekdays and weekends, a mix of independent and team work, and a commitment to client welfare and safety.

Qualifications

• Willing to work flexible hours including night shifts on weekdays and weekends.
• Basic counselling, conflict resolution/crisis intervention skills are assets.
• Be aware of crisis/emergency response practices.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Be respectful and sensitive to clients' issues, needs and concerns.
• Possess or willing to obtain CPR/First Aid, NVCI or other trainings as required.
• Willing to obtain a clear Vulnerable Sector check.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor clients and maintain overnight security.
• Conduct random room checks and prepare daily group paperwork.
• Contribute to general housekeeping of the lodge and program rooms.
• Assist with preparing for the next program by working day shifts when not in-program.
• Responsible for safety and meeting clients' needs while in residence.
• Filing/Completing Serious Occurrences when necessary.
