Job purpose:

Provide 2nd and 3rd line operational support for the global CLS Microsoft 365 (M365) Collaboration Tool set and Infrastructure in the company’s 24x7 hosted and cloud environments. You will be required to take ownership of problems through to resolution over a wide variety of systems and technologies. You will also be part of a team to expand the current use of existing technologies and advise and implement new ones. The role requires SME level experience supporting multiple resilient solutions in an enterprise M365 Platform.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Responsible for the CLS M365 Collaboration Toolset:
  • Microsoft SharePoint Online
  • Application Workflows (using PowerApps & Power Automate)
  • Microsoft Teams Teams Premium
  • Microsoft OneDrive
  • Exchange Online
  • Other M365 tool set applications e.g. PowerBi
  • Maintain and provide SME level infrastructure support for the CLS internal and external Microsoft M365 solutions
  • Troubleshooting live issues as they occur
  • Advise and expand the current M365 toolset within the CLS Organization
  • Governance and configuration management of the M365 environment
  • Review and manage daily/weekly Microsoft update bulletins for the M365 service
  • Manage record retention policies across all M365 applications
  • General housekeeping & administration of the M365 environment
  • Maintain and update all required Key Controls and audit requirements
  • Business As Usual support across all applications
  • Drive change and recommend improvements across the CLS estate
  • Prioritize BAU service, respond to incidents, problems, and service requests efficiently, ensuring SLA compliance
  • Resolve problems for local and remote users
  • Participate in scheduled Disaster Recovery testing and provide SME support for M365 applications
  • Create, maintain, and review operational support documentation
  • Perform system checks regularly and address issues
  • Participate in on-call rota and weekend work as required
  • Represent M365 Operations changes at weekly/daily CAB meetings, ensuring change impacts are managed
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
  • Proven experience managing and supporting an Enterprise Microsoft 365 environment
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Strong technical background
  • Ability to react quickly to fast-moving situations
  • Understanding of ITIL processes within a financial services context
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated with a drive to exceed expectations
