AVP - M365 Operations Specialist

Job Information:

  • Functional title – M365 Operations Support
  • Department – Technology
  • Report to – Vice President M365 Operations Support

Job Purpose:

Provide 2nd and 3rd line operational support for CLS’s global Microsoft 365 environment within our 24x7 hosted and cloud infrastructures. Take ownership of issues, resolve problems across systems, and contribute to expanding and advising on the use of existing and new technologies. The role requires SME-level expertise in supporting resilient enterprise M365 solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the CLS M365 Collaboration Toolset, including:
  • Microsoft SharePoint Online
  • Application Workflows (PowerApps & Power Automate)
  • Microsoft Teams & Teams Premium
  • Microsoft OneDrive
  • Exchange Online
  • Other M365 applications such as Power BI
  • Maintain and support the M365 environment, troubleshoot live issues, and advise on expansion
  • Governance, configuration management, and review of Microsoft updates
  • Manage record retention policies and perform administrative tasks
  • Ensure compliance with key controls and audit requirements
  • Support BAU activities, drive improvements, and respond to incidents and requests
  • Participate in disaster recovery testing and support documentation updates
  • Perform system checks and participate in on-call rotations
  • Represent M365 operations in change management processes

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proven experience supporting enterprise-wide Microsoft 365 environments
  • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
  • Strong technical background and ITIL process understanding
  • Ability to respond swiftly to dynamic situations
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and proactive in exceeding expectations
