Job summary

State Street is seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to join our Digital Asset team. You will deliver end-to-end product experiences across Java back-end services and modern UI components, enabling digital asset capabilities in a regulated financial services environment.

You will build REST APIs, orchestrate microservices, and develop responsive front-end interfaces with React/Vue/Angular, while embracing Agile practices, automated testing, and CI/CD disciplines to ensure reliability

Qualifications

• Strong, hands-on experience delivering full-stack applications in financial services or similarly regulated environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Java and Spring Boot with web, security, data modules.
• Strong experience building RESTful APIs and microservices with documentation and integration patterns.
• Solid experience with modern front-end frameworks (React/Vue/Angular) and production UIs.
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle) and ORM/data access patterns.
• Strong engineering practices: automated testing, code reviews, and Agile delivery.
• Experience with CI/CD, containerization, and cloud delivery tooling.
• Experience working with multi-location engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack features spanning Java back-end services and modern web UI components.
• Build and evolve REST APIs and service integrations for digital asset workflows.
• Develop responsive front-end experiences using React/Vue/Angular for financial services users.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into designs and incremental deliveries.
• Implement automated testing across unit, integration, and UI/API levels and maintain CI/CD discipline.
• Contribute to operational readiness: logging/monitoring, performance tuning, production support, and reliability improvements.
• Work with security and platform stakeholders to meet regulated environment requirements.
