Job summary

CLS Group in London seeks a Cyber & Network Security Engineer (AVP) to support deployment, automation, and operations of enterprise security platforms. You will work on AWS security tooling, develop IaC for tooling, and collaborate with senior engineers to solve complex security challenges.

The role requires hands-on cloud security work, mentoring from seniors, and the ability to learn quickly while delivering secure-by-design solutions. London onsite with strong security focus.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in Security Engineering, Cloud Security, or Infrastructure Security.
• Experience building and deploying AWS environments from the ground up.
• Hands-on experience onboarding, configuring, and operating enterprise security platforms.
• Strong experience automating security operations using Python.

Responsibilities

• Assist with configuring and maintaining enterprise security platforms and services.
• Develop automation solutions using Python to reduce operational overhead.
• Build and manage AWS environments for proofs-of-concept, testing and production deployments.
• Design and implement security monitoring use cases and dashboards.
• On board new log sources and develop Splunk searches and dashboards.
