Citi in the United Kingdom seeks an AI Engineer to join a high-impact team powering a global lending platform. You will build and operate AI components, focusing on MCP tools and AI agent frameworks, within a SCRUM environment.

The role emphasizes production deployment of LLM-powered solutions, strong Python/ML skills, and collaboration across offices or remote. A Bachelor's in CS is required; hybrid work offered and generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience applying large language models (LLMs) to solve real business problems, from ideation through production
• Strong fluency in the Python AI/ML ecosystem, including Pydantic, REST API integration, database access, and orchestration frameworks such as ADK or LangGraph
• Proficient in SQL and working with complex data in enterprise environments
• A genuine team player who can also operate with full autonomy — equally effective in the office or working remotely
• Sharp, structured thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to independently research and master new technical domains
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
