Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a hands-on Avionics Technician to support manufacture, assembly, testing and installation of avionics systems for unmanned aircraft within a UK electronics environment.

The role covers production, aircraft commissioning and UK flight operations, with responsibilities across assembly, testing, repair, and providing on-site support during flight testing, while adhering to safety and engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronics manufacturing and PCBA production.
• Hand soldering experience is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing packs.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture avionics components and cable assemblies per build packs and schedules.
• Test and qualify avionics systems in accordance with SOPs.
• Repair and rework failed items, perform functional testing to return to service.
