Demob Job Ltd is seeking an experienced Avionics Technician to join a North Yorkshire engineering team. The role involves hands-on maintenance, fault finding, and strong aircraft electrical work in a close-knit environment.

You will diagnose faults, interpret wiring diagrams, support modifications, and maintain documentation, with occasional travel to other UK/European locations. The position suits those with RAF/aviation background and a safety-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Military aircraft technical training or an equivalent recognised aircraft engineering qualification.
• Hands-on aircraft electrical or avionics maintenance experience.
• Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, schematics and technical publications.
• Experience with older/legacy aircraft systems is advantageous.
• Safety-focused, methodical approach.
• Full driving licence.
• Flexibility to travel away when required.
• Willingness to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

I am recruiting for my client who is looking for an experienced Avionics Technician to join their established engineering team in North Yorkshire.

This is a hands on opportunity suited to someone with strong aircraft electrical and avionics experience who enjoys fault finding, problem solving and working within a close knit technical team.

Avionics Technician Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on aircraft electrical and avionics systems.
