To be able to carry out modifications / maintenance in line with drawings / maintenance data
Precise wiring terminations and testing/Removal and installation of various shelves, panels and equipment.
We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Avionics Mechanics to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and technical environment, supporting essential aircraft modifications and maintenance activities.
Carry out modifications and maintenance in accordance with approved drawings and maintenance data, taking full accountability for the technical integrity of all work performed.
All tasks will be assigned by the Lead Technician or B2 Engineer.
You will be expected to provide regular updates on any issues affecting the work plan, including proposed solutions or recommendations where applicable.
Any unsafe conditions must be promptly reported to the Lead Technician or B2 Engineer, as well as through the appropriate internal reporting channels.
Precise wiring terminations and testing.
Removal and installation of various shelves, panels and equipment.
Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and regulatory requirements.
Loom Manufacture and testing.
Support avionics system testing, validation, and troubleshooting.
Maintain the highest standards of tool control within the work area.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Completed an engineering apprenticeship - ideally in Aeronautical engineering or military equivalent
Previous aircraft modification experience
Previous aircraft production experience is advantageous
Excellent hand skills
Eligible to work and live in the UK
Subject to UK security Vetting
Excellent knowledge of Avionics systems

Good interpersonal skills
Initial EWIS group 1&2 (including EWIS group 1 Module G (Practical)); Continuation Training EWIS group 1&2
