Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking an Avionics Engineer for a major defence organisation in Cheltenham. You will perform planned line and base maintenance on rotary aircraft and avionics systems, diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs to ensure continuing airworthiness.

Qualifications

• Avionics Engineer role requiring B2 AML and UK security clearance.
• Experience with rotary aircraft maintenance and avionics systems is preferred.
• Be commutable to Cheltenham and eligible for UK security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM line maintenance on rotary aircraft and avionics systems.
• Diagnose faults and repair avionics and electrical systems in line with CAMO.
• Undertake base maintenance activities as required.
• Ensure serviceable tools, equipment, materials and airworthiness data are available.
• Liaise with team members, other departments and customers to ensure high quality work.

The Role:
