Job summary

Bombardier's Biggin Hill Service Centre is looking for a Wheels and Landing Gear Mechanic to join the UK operations. You will troubleshoot, inspect, and maintain aircraft components including wheels, brakes and structures, following manuals and regulatory instructions, and you will train and support other team members.

You will be responsible for end-to-end component MRO tasks, be proficient with tools and ground support equipment, and use SAP or similar ERP systems to raise service orders while

Qualifications

• You have UK CAA & EASA Part 145 MRO experience.
• You have at least six months of relevant aircraft/component maintenance in any two-year period.
• You are current on recurrent/continuation training.
• You can interpret engineering drawings and communicate status clearly.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and perform maintenance on aircraft components including wheel assemblies, batteries, and structures.
• Perform maintenance repair and overhaul per documents, manuals, work instructions, and regulatory instructions.
• Be trained, train others, coach and support colleagues.
• Perform end-to-end component MRO tasks across workshops as required.
• Perform basic and complex repairs on aircraft components.
• Raise a Form 1 and confirm airworthiness of serviceable components.
• Work across shifts to ensure tasks and inspections meet required standards.
• Review and update MRO tasks as trained and authorized.
