Job summary

Airinmar Holdings Ltd is seeking a Technical Services Engineer at our Finchampstead site for a full-time, permanent role. You will work in Value Engineering and Warranty disciplines to reduce costs and improve processes, while coordinating with suppliers and customers.

Qualifications

• Degree/HND/HNC in engineering or relevant work experience in an aircraft maintenance organisation.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem solving skills.
• Competency in using MS Excel.
• Willing to periodically visit customer sites and manage time effectively.
• Demonstrates initiative and passion for aviation.

Responsibilities

• Reducing cost of aircraft equipment repair through Value Engineering and Warranty Management.
• Assessing repair quotations for accuracy and identifying cost-reduction opportunities.
• Assessing warranty rejections and liaising with suppliers for clarifications.
• Analysing repair records and producing governance and performance reports.
• Conducting market research to identify cost-effective repair options.
• Working with other teams to support Cost Reduction Programmes.
• Building strong working relationships with Airinmar departments, customers and suppliers.
• Applying continuous improvement to Airinmar’s processes and systems.
