Job summary

ICF is seeking a Sustainable Aviation Analytics Associate to help deliver evidence-led projects reducing aviation’s environmental impact. You will develop analytical models, manage datasets, and translate findings into practical recommendations for clients in the aviation sector.

Role sits within the Sustainable Aviation team of the Aviation, Travel and Tourism consulting division, with opportunities to contribute to broader aviation projects in the UK or Spain.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant professional, academic or research experience.
• Proven ability to process, analyse and visualise data.
• Experience using Python or willingness to learn.
• Strong research skills with ability to evaluate data from credible sources.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Excellent communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop, improve and apply analytical models and tools to answer complex questions across sustainable aviation projects.
• Analyse, manage and visualise varied datasets, helping to maintain robust, efficient and well-documented analytical workflows.
• Use coding, automation and emerging AI tools where appropriate to improve the quality and efficiency of our analysis.
• Translate analytical outputs into clear findings and practical recommendations for clients and colleagues.
• Contribute to project delivery and business growth, including research, report writing, proposals and the development of new methods and service.
• Provide ICF’s clients with robust solutions to novel challenges by staying up to date with market developments, policies, methodologies and practices.
• Support business growth including building industry relationships, writing proposals, contributing to insightful articles, and representing ICF at conferences.
