Your Role
This role ensures that products are processed and handled correctly throughout the hangar stores environment using MHE, manual handling, and the appropriate computer systems to meet customer requirements efficiently, accurately, safely, and in compliance with all regulatory standards.
Your Responsibilities
- Complete daily MHE safety checks (where applicable).
- Perform tasks such as picking, goods receiving (if required), checking, loading & unloading vehicles, hygiene, MHE duties, and processing returns.
- Pack and ship items as trained, or work towards competence in these areas.
- Handle administrative tasks, including order allocation and stock booking in/out.
- Operate Warehouse Management Systems (Corridor) following work instructions and SOPs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects and ideas.
- Follow trained work instructions (e.g., ABC Modules/WI and SSow).
- Adhere to company standards as per the Code of Conduct Policy.
- Promote health & safety, quality, environment, and training policies, as well as other relevant company policies.
Your Skills and Experiences
- Good English communication skills (written & verbal).
- Basic numeracy skills.
- Experience in an aviation parts environment (maintenance, MRO, or accredited parts supplier) is desirable, or transferable experience in high-quality or compliance environments.
- Experience working in time-critical environments.
- Understanding of warehouse practices such as picking, packing, and loading.
- Knowledge of computerized inventory procedures, including material services and inventory control.
- PC literacy.
- Understanding of KPIs.
- Full driving license is essential; forklift license is desired (training provided).
- Medical fitness to hold an Airside Drivers Permit, operate company vehicles, and lift equipment (MHE).
- Reliable, punctual, with good communication, accuracy, and attention to detail.
