Qualifications

  • Medical fitness to hold Airside Drivers Permit and operate lifting equipment.
  • Experience in time-critical environments and warehouse practices.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure products are processed accurately and safely in the hangar stores.
  • Complete daily MHE safety checks and perform administrative tasks.

Job description

Keep the fleet flying high – join our night shift aviation team.

Your Role

Night shift - 4 on 4 off. This role will ensure that products are processed and handled correctly throughout the hangar stores environment utilising MHE, manual handling and the appropriate computer systems to achieve and fulfil customer requirements efficiently, accurately, safely and in line with all regulatory requirements.

Your Responsibilities
  • Complete the daily MHE safety checks (where applicable)
  • Carry out assigned tasks including: picking, goods receiving (if required), checking, loading & unloading of vehicles, hygiene, MHE duties and the processing of returns
  • Packing and shipping as appropriate (according to training and task specific addendum) or working towards competence in this area
  • Carry out assigned administrative tasks including but not limited to: allocation of orders and the booking in and out of stock
  • Comply with all Safe Working Practices including the reporting of all accidents and incidents and Near Misses within the workplace
  • Comply and contribute to the KN Excellence standards within the working area
  • Achieve individual and team productivity performance standards including accuracy
  • Adopt and work in accordance with KN Anchor Principles and Behaviours
  • Follow the escalation process where there is any deviation from the standard process
  • Undertake any other duties that may be assigned
  • Support the compliance of KPI’s
Your Skills and Experiences
  • Full Driving licence is essential & Forklift licence desired, (training will be provided)
  • Experience of working in Aviation Parts environment desirable or transferable experience of working in high quality or compliance environment
  • Experience of working in time critical environments
  • Understanding of warehouse practises e.g. picking, packing & loading
  • Working knowledge of computerised inventory procedures to include experience in material services, inventory control.
  • PC literate
  • Customer service experience
  • Corridor/SAP experience preferred.
  • Medical fitness to hold Airside Drivers Permit, driving company vehicles and operating lifting equipment (MHE)
  • Medical fitness to work night shifts.
  • Suitably fit for manual lifting
