Job summary

Manpower UK is seeking a permanent Fabricator / Fitter Technician in Kidlington to perform precision sheet metal work to aviation standards within a regulated hangar and workshop setting. You will manufacture parts from engineering drawings, assemble subcontractor components, inspect parts for specifications, and apply protective coatings.

You will also support prototype development and day-to-day hangar activities with a strong focus on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and data.
• Strong attention to accuracy and quality control.
• Reliable, methodical approach to work and safety.
• Willingness to work in a regulated hangar/workshop environment.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate parts from sheet metal to aviation standards from drawings.
• Assemble subcontractor components ensuring fit and safety.
• Inspect subcontractor parts for compliance with drawings.
• Apply protective coatings as required.
• Carry out repairs using sheet metal and composite techniques.
• Support prototype work with the design team.
• Assist with day-to-day hangar activities and aircraft handling as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized workshop and safe working practices.
