Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide technical support and maintenance for x-ray and CT security systems across London airports. The role involves working independently, maintaining relationships with airport authorities, and managing complex technical challenges.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with security systems and must possess excellent communication skills. A full UK driving license and availability to travel are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience in security and detection systems.
• Hands-on experience with software maintenance and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, and maintain x-ray and CT security systems.
• Coordinate planning of preventative maintenance services.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders.

Skills

Excellent customer interface

Knowledge of complex digital and analog circuitry

Proficiency in Microsoft 365

Strong technical knowledge of x-ray and CT technologies

Education

NVQ Level 3, HNC, HND in Electronics, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering

Engineering graduate or military training in electronics

Test equipment (DVM, oscilloscope)
