Job summary

Leading Edge Aviation, a busy pilot training school in the UK, seeks a Ramp Assistant to help keep aircraft flight-ready in a bustling airport setting. This full-time role supports the Operations Team with hands-on duties and a focus on safety and professionalism.

You will work 40 hours across five days in a 7-day rotation, covering weekend and evening shifts as required. Opportunities for development and a supportive team culture are emphasised.

Qualifications

• UK driving licence is essential.
• Must be safety conscious and comply with regulations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills required.
• Willingness to work a 7-day shift pattern.
• Ability to perform manual handling when required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure aircraft are refuelled and oil levels checked.
• Ensure aircraft are cleaned and fit for flight, inside and out.
• Move aircraft around the hangar and apron as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe hangar environment.
• Carry out de-icing duties and routine checks.
