Job summary

Leading Edge Aviation Limited is seeking a Ramp Agent for our Oxford campus to keep aircraft flight-ready and support our Operations Team. The role is permanent, full-time, with 40 hours across 5 days in a 7-day rotating pattern at an airport environment.

You will refuel, de-ice, clean, and move aircraft, while maintaining safety and standards in a dynamic setting. A UK driving licence is essential, with opportunities to grow within our aviation training community.

Responsibilities

• Ensure aircraft are refuelled and oil levels checked.

• Carry out de-icing duties when needed.
• Uphold high safety and presentation standards at all times.

We are looking for a flexible and safety conscious Ramp Assistant to assist our business in maintaining a smooth operation by ensuring our aircraft are flight ready. This is a hands‑on role is based right at the heart of an exciting airport environment. A Ramp Assistant is a vital role within the Operations Team and ensures the aircraft, staff and students have everything they need to safely take to the skies

This is a permanent, full‑time role based in our Oxford Academy. Ramp Agents work 40 hours per week over 5 days, and the team cover a 7‑day week operation.

Role Duties

• Ensure all aircraft are appropriately refuelled and oil levels at the required level
• Ensure all aircraft are cleaned and fit for flight, both internally and externally
• Move aircraft in and out hangar and around the apron as required
• Maintain hangar cleanliness.
• Carry out de-icing duties as required
• Maintain a high standard of safety and presentation at all times when operating.
• Undertake daily, weekly and monthly vehicle and ground equipment and fuel checks
• Escort visitors airside as required
• Provide vital support to the Operations Team
• Demonstrate and uphold the company’s core values in all actions, decisions, and interactions.
