Job summary

Percival Aviation Limited in Fareham is seeking a Quality Engineer – Compliance to support regulatory and industry-standard processes across the business. The role requires travel to other sites and a hands-on approach to maintaining robust management systems.

You will lead internal and supplier audits, drive supplier evaluation and approval, and help ensure conformity and traceability throughout the supply chain while coaching teams in auditing and corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Lead Auditor or equivalent with internal and supplier audits to BS EN AS9100
• Audit experience in UK Part 21J/21G/UK/EASA approvals
• Strong root cause analysis and corrective action proficiency
• Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Visio; familiarity with SharePoint

Responsibilities

• Maintain management system manuals, procedures and forms to stay compliant
• Operate the internal and supplier audit programme, track audits and closures
• Prepare, perform and document audits and facilitate external audits
• Coach others in auditing, root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Lead supplier evaluation, approval and monitoring, and integrate suppliers into the audit programme
• Flow down requirements to suppliers, including training and authorisations
• Ensure competent, authorised personnel and maintain competence matrices
• Support production/design organisation linkages and production approval scope
• Assist in development of supplier approval processes and training controls
• Deputise for senior roles when required and support Safety/Information Security management as needed
