Job summary

Applus+ Europe is seeking an Aviation Non-Destructive Test Technician Level 2 to perform NDT inspections on aircraft and components in accordance with EN4179/NAS410 approvals. The role involves on-site work with frequent travel to domestic and international customer sites, while maintaining Applus+ core values.

You will review customer work instructions, ensure instrument calibration and maintenance, complete job packs, and provide Form 1 releases for EASA/CAA/FAA.

Qualifications

• Hold at least 1 approval in Eddy Current, Ultrasonic, or Radiography qualified and certified in accordance with EN4179/NAS410 Level 2 or alternative standards/guidelines accepted by the applicable National Aviation Authority.
• Minimum of 12 months practical experience in NDT maintenance as Level 2.
• Good command of verbal and written English.

Responsibilities

• Conduct NDT inspections of customer aircraft and components in line with agreed priorities and instructions.
• Ensure calibration, control and maintenance checks are performed and recorded for all instruments.
• Prepare accurate job packs and timesheets for distribution to team administrators and supervisors.
• Provide required documentation following inspection (e.g. Form 1 releases for EASA/CAA/FAA).
• Travel domestically and internationally to support customers and projects.
