• Contribute to team delivery of targets and process improvements.
• Understand risk assessments and COSHH requirements.

Position Type: Full-time

Overview:

We are now looking to recruit NDT Technician at 2EE to join us on a permanent basis.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Carry out on-wing aircraft and aircraft part inspections
• Ensure all equipment is calibrated and functions correctly in accordance with the maintenance tasks required.
• Carry out daily checks within NDT department
• To undertake recurrent training every five years to maintain NDT certification
• Contribute to team delivery of agreed targets, goals and find ways to continuously improve processes within the NDT department
• Know and understand risk assessments associated with task, including any Task Risk Assessment or COSHH Assessment referenced.

The following skills, experience and capabilities are required:

• Level 2 NDT Technician
• Due to the nature of the role, the candidate must be suitably qualified to PCN Aero or EN4179 as a level 2 NDT inspector in at least 1of the following;

• Eddy Current Inspection
• Ultrasonic Inspection
• Penetrant Inspection
• Magnetic Particle Inspection

• Experience in Aviation on-wing inspections a must.
