Job summary

Aeropeople is seeking a Mechanical Technician to join their Stansted site on a permanent basis. The role is on-site five days per week and focuses on disassembly, fault finding and repair of safety equipment (slides and rafts) with reassembly according to CMM/OHM and OEM packing instructions.

Ideal candidates will be numerate and literate with GCSE Maths and English. OEM training in maintenance of safety equipment is desirable, as is prior aerospace workshop experience.

• GCSE Maths and English are required.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, test, fault-find and repair safety equipment for slides and rafts.
• Reassemble safety equipment in accordance with CMMs / OHMs and OEM packing instructions.
