Job summary

WeDoTech seeks an experienced IBM Maximo SME to support a major aviation programme on a remote-first basis in the UK. The role focuses on configuring and optimizing Maximo MAS to meet aviation maintenance and asset-management needs, with strong stakeholder collaboration and documentation duties.

The ideal candidate has hands-on Maximo experience, aviation knowledge, and the ability to translate operational requirements into Maximo configurations within complex enterprise programmes.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with IBM Maximo / MAS.
• Experience with Maximo Aviation is highly desirable.
• Experience as a Maximo SME, consultant or solution specialist.
• Strong understanding of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).
• Experience in maintenance/work management and asset lifecycle processes.
• Ability to translate operational requirements into Maximo configuration and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject-matter expert for IBM Maximo across the programme.
• Understand aviation maintenance and asset-management processes and translate requirements into Maximo solutions.
• Support the design, configuration and optimisation of Maximo functionality.
• Work with stakeholders to define requirements and solution approaches.
• Advise on Maximo best practice across asset, work and maintenance management.
• Support integration, testing, migration and deployment activities where required.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and maximise the use of Maximo.
• Produce solution documentation and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams.
