Job summary

AES Ltd, the Engineering Delivery Partner for Ryanair, are recruiting for a Materials Standards Officer for Stansted. Reporting to the Materials Standards & Dangerous Goods Manager, you will support Group Stores, act as SME for PAC requirements, and deliver training across locations.

The role demands extensive aviation materials experience, PAC holder/inspector credentials, and the ability to travel across Ryanair networks to ensure compliance and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience within an Aviation Materials or Stores environment.
• PAC Holder and/or PAC Inspector experience is essential.
• Strong knowledge of Goods Receiving, Certification Review and Component Inspection.
• Understanding of EASA Part 145 and Continuing Airworthiness requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support all Group Stores to ensure consistent Materials standards.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert for Goods Receiving, Certification Review, Component Inspection and PAC authorisation.
• Deliver training and development programmes across locations.
• Conduct competency assessments and authorisation reviews.
• Provide on-site guidance to Stores teams to ensure compliance.
• Promote standardisation of processes across Group Stores.
• Monitor compliance with Materials procedures and identify improvements.
• Support management with materials-related operational issues.
• Assist with investigations and corrective actions.
• Support development of Materials training programmes and competency frameworks.
• Travel regularly throughout the Ryanair network.
• Accomplish other duties as directed by Management.
