Job summary

Chevron Recruitment is seeking a Material Controller (Contractor) in Luton. The role involves ensuring compliant receipt, storage and issue of aircraft parts, with cost-effective stock management, and heavy items handling.

Responsibilities include managing QUANTUM/AMOS systems, inventory levels, and liaising with airlines. Training is provided for specific store systems and EASA PART 145 knowledge may be offered. Shift work is required in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Secondary school level.
• Excellent English in both verbal and written form.
• Previous Aviation Logistics/Stores experience preferred but training can be given.
• QUANTUM stores experience preferred but training can be given.
• AMOS stores experience preferred but training can be given.
• EASA PART 145 course can be provided.
• Knowledge of Goods in inspection and airworthiness certification is an advantage.
• Strong IT literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Ensure material received is undamaged, correct quantity and release docs.
• Book on QUANTUM System and quarantine non-conforming items.
• Maintain stock levels and return unserviceable material promptly.
• Manage shelf life of components and tooling.
• Coordinate collection/delivery with suppliers and couriers.
• Issue material to engineers and update QUANTUM/AMOS systems.
• Comply with internal/external audits.
• Support operational requirements as needed.
