Job summary

Morson Edge are looking for a Maintenance Planning Engineer to join a leading aviation organisation, supporting the planning and coordination of aircraft maintenance activities within a Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO). This role ensures maintenance is planned efficiently, regulatory requirements are met, and aircraft are maintained in accordance with approved maintenance programmes to support safe and effective operations.

12 month contract at Shawbury (Heli).

Qualifications

• Mature understanding of aircraft maintenance planning within CAMO and Part 145 environments.
• Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and with others.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
• Proactive problem solving to prevent operational disruption.
• Good written and verbal communication; stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Manage aircraft maintenance planning activities per procedures and regulations.
• Liaise with Maintenance and other departments to clarify capacity and capability.
• Enter aircraft technical log data into the MIS.
• Forecast maintenance needs based on utilisation and maintain the schedule.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules with Customer Support Managers and owners/operators.
• Ensure ADs, SBs, EOs and other requirements are incorporated as needed.
• Produce and review maintenance work packs and documentation.
• Provide cross‑functional CAMO support and drive process improvements.
