Job summary

Babcock International at RAF Cranwell is hiring a Warehouse Operative to support aviation supply chain operations. You will carry out a wide range of logistics duties, keeping equipment stored, tracked and available in line with MOD/RAF/Babcock procedures.

The role is full-time and onsite, with 39 hours per week, Monday-Thursday 08:00-16:30 and Friday 08:00-15:30. Requirements include experience in logistics, a UK driving licence and the option of C1 LGV/FLT licences as desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics or supply chain operations.
• Proficient with logistics-based computer systems.
• Valid UK driving licence required.
• C1 LGV up to 7.5 tonnes (desirable).
• Forklift Truck (FLT) licence (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Carry out logistics duties in line with MOD/RAF/Babcock policies and procedures.
• Maintain storage areas in line with Defence Logistics Framework and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure personal authorisations and competencies are up to date.
• Support upkeep of the FEG department, compounds and vehicles.
• Manage equipment establishments to ensure items are stored, maintained and accounted for.
