Job summary

Swissport International AG is seeking highly motivated technicians to service, repair, and maintain all types of Ground Service Equipment (GSE). You will perform preventive maintenance, record inspection findings in the fleet management system, and respond to out-of-hours service requests where needed.

The role requires time-served technical competency (City & Guilds or equivalent), a minimum of 1 year post-apprentice experience, and a UK driving license.

Qualifications

• Time served Technician with City & Guilds or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year post Apprentice experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electric systems.
• Must have own tools.
• Must be able to pass DBS security background checks.
• Willingness to travel for training or to assist other Swissport stations with GSE needs.
• Car/HGV training up to level 2.
• Basic knowledge of auto electricals.
• Ability to use initiative.
• Some role involves checking oils and waters to schedule.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair and maintain all types of Ground Service Equipment (GSE).
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on all GSE.
• Upload inspection findings and job details into Swissport fleet management system.
• May respond to out-of-hours service requests.
