Job summary

AECOM is seeking a strategic, client-focused Aviation Client & Programme Director to lead growth across the UK & Ireland. You will report to the Sector Director and work with global leadership to shape opportunities, win major programmes, and build long-term client relationships.

This role emphasizes executive engagement, cross-border collaboration and delivering flagship aviation projects. The position involves leading growth, pursuing high-value bids (> $5M), and ensuring successful delivery

Qualifications

Proven success leading pursuit, capture and conversion of major infrastructure opportunities.
Established relationships within the aviation sector and credibility with airport operators and delivery partners.
Demonstrated experience developing client strategies, growing key accounts and securing repeat business.
Extensive experience leading the delivery of complex, multidisciplinary infrastructure programmes.

Responsibilities

Lead the three-year aviation growth strategy across the UK & Ireland and convert priority market opportunities.
Own the client engagement strategy for key aviation clients, developing executive-level relationships.
Direct end-to-end work winning for strategic pursuits and develop compelling proposals.
Develop winning strategies leveraging global capability, technical excellence and delivery expertise.
Collaborate with global Aviation and Transportation teams to unlock cross-border opportunities and share resources.
Provide executive oversight of major aviation programmes and ensure successful delivery and client satisfaction.
