Job summary

Menzies Aviation in Aberdeen is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for repairs and regular maintenance of fuelling vehicles.

You will specify, procure and install equipment; perform diagnostics, inspections and MOT prep to Aberdeen Airport standards; carry out QC to JIG standards. Candidates should hold LGV C+E, be safety conscious and flexible to work across the UK; ADR/CPC beneficial.

Qualifications

• Valid driving license with LGV C+E (ADR, CPC advantageous).
• Maintain high levels of Health, Safety, Security and Environment awareness.
• High standard of numeracy and literacy; strong problem solving.
• Knowledge of multiple HGV vehicle types desirable.
• Knowledge of vehicle electrics and hydraulic systems (certification desirable).
• Good knowledge of the vehicle fuelling pack desirable.
• Must have a checkable five-year employment history.

Responsibilities

• Specification, procurement, and installation of fuelling equipment and related maintenance.
• Diagnostics, running repairs, vehicle inspections, MOT preparation to Aberdeen Airport standard.
• Servicing fuelling and maintenance vehicle pack including pressure controllers, hose tests, filter changes, water detection system checks, hydraulic system checks and repairs.
• Carry out Quality Control to JIG standards.
• Demonstrate health and safety awareness and safe working practices.
• Flexible to work at other locations throughout the UK when required.
