Job summary

Gi Group Holding is seeking a Maintenance Person in Aberdeen to maintain and refurbish a fleet of accommodation and welfare units. You will ensure high standards of maintenance and readiness for hire, including basic plumbing and electrical tasks and stock control.

The role requires a practical, hands-on approach with health and safety at the forefront. Desirable forklift and MPBA qualifications, with training provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance/refurbishment
• Practical, hands-on approach to maintenance
• Willingness to work overtime when required
• Good health and safety practices

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, repairs and refurbishment of site accommodation units and welfare units.
• Maintain and repair units to a high standard; fit sink units and partition kits.
• Undertake minor plumbing and electrical work.
• Report damage or repair needs to supervisor; log for charging customers when appropriate.
• Monitor stock levels of materials and reuse components where possible.
• Paint and refurbish accommodation units; ensure tools are maintained and stored.
• Clean accommodation units and welfare vans; ensure timely hire readiness.
• Work efficiently to prepare units within required timescales; uphold safety standards.
