Job summary

Babcock International at RAF Cranwell, Lincolnshire, is seeking a Warehouse Operative to support aviation supply chain activities. You'll join the logistics team and follow MOD, RAF and Babcock processes to ensure equipment is stored, accounted for, and available when needed.

This full-time, onsite role is 39 hours per week (Mon-Thu 08:00-16:30, Fri 08:00-15:30). A UK driving licence and experience in logistics are required, with security clearance essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in supply chain or logistics within a military or civilian environment.
• Experience using logistics-based computer systems.
• Full UK driving licence.
• C1 LGV up to 7.5 tonnes (desirable).
• Forklift Truck (FLT) licence (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Carry out all logistics duties in line with MOD/RAF/Babcock policies and procedures.
• Maintain storage areas in accordance with Defence Logistics Framework and other regulatory requirements.
• Ensure personal authorisations, training and competencies remain up to date.
• Support the upkeep and husbandry of the FEG department, compounds and vehicles within your area of responsibility.
• Manage equipment establishments to ensure items are stored, maintained and accounted for accurately.
