dnata Catering UK is seeking a General Assistant at London Gatwick to support production, equipment, wash, and stock-control tasks. You will help prepare and plate meals, handle packed items, and assist with routing and paperwork to ensure on-time delivery for airline customers.

The role requires the ability to work in a chilled environment and stand for long periods, with basic English understanding. Training and on-site breakfast, lunch, and parking benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Be able to handle pork and alcohol products.
• Be prepared to stand for long periods of time and have good mobility.

Responsibilities

• Prodution: Preparing and plating food.
• Handling of packed food goods.
• Packing amenity kits and flight condiments.
• Equipment: Stacking shelves.
• Rotation of stock.
• Re-ordering of dry stock.
• Wash: General cleaning.
• Waste removal.
• Washing airline equipment to industry standards.
• Search and Seal: Inspecting goods for prohibited items.
• Checking stock for damages.
• Completion of paperwork.
