Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Technical Director specialising in Airport Capacity Analysis to lead capacity work on major airport development programmes and to act as a technical expert across our aviation practice.

You will train junior staff, drive capacity modelling, and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining strong client relationships. Willingness to travel internationally and work offshore on aviation projects is valued.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in airport capacity, incl. large-scale programmes.
• Numerically fluent; able to direct and train junior staff in analysis and optimisation.
• Experience with simulation modelling tools to train modellers and optimise facilities.
• Excellent communication skills with stakeholders at all levels; board to graduates.

Responsibilities

• Lead capacity work on major airport development programmes for airport owners and operators.
• Train others in capacity expertise and support development of junior staff.
• Plan and position for opportunities; produce technically and commercially strong proposals.
