The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) is seeking an Inspector ATS (Operations) to lead oversight of Air Navigation Service Providers, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. You will audit and inspect organisations from major airports to ATS units, evaluate safety management, and provide proportionate regulatory interventions where needed.

Qualifikationen

• Extensive operational ATS experience in a regulated aviation setting.
• Strong knowledge of Safety Management Systems and risk assessment methods.
• Experience applying regulatory requirements in safety-critical environments.
• Ability to make evidence-based decisions under pressure.

Aufgaben

• Plan, lead and deliver audits, inspections and assurance activities under risk-based oversight.
• Assess licences, ratings and gains for ATS personnel including grants and renewals.
• Evaluate governance, safety management systems, resilience and safety culture.
• Lead or support investigations into regulatory concerns and safety issues.
• Analyse operational and safety data to identify trends and risks.
• Represent the CAA at industry meetings and stakeholder engagements.
• Contribute to regulatory policy development and continuous improvement initiatives.
