We are delighted to be working with this company based near Royston. They are recruiting for an IT Infrastructure Engineer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis with options for hybrid working.

This role requires Security Clearance and applicants are therefore required to be a British Citizen or Dual UK National (including British Citizenship).

Key responsibilities will include:

1. Support and develop existing company infrastructure
2. Lead implementation projects across the department (Azure VD)
3. Serve as a point of contact for 3rd line technical issues
4. Administrate and maintain Windows Server
5. Manage networks and cloud-based infrastructure
6. Help manage suppliers and equipment procurement

The successful candidate will have:

1. Excellent cloud knowledge and experience in Azure Virtual Desktop implementation
2. Proven experience in a similar role supporting cloud-based infrastructure
3. Proficiency in M365, Exchange, VMware, and firewall management
4. Good networking knowledge (Ethernet, VLANs, routing, switching, IP addressing)
5. Excellent troubleshooting abilities
6. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
