Job description

We are delighted to be working with a company based near Royston. They are recruiting for an IT Infrastructure Engineer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis with options for hybrid working.

This role requires Security Clearance, and applicants must be British Citizens or Dual UK Nationals (including British Citizenship).

Key responsibilities will include:

1. Support and develop existing company infrastructure
2. Lead implementation projects across the department (Azure VD)
3. Serve as a point of contact for 3rd line technical issues
4. Administrate and maintain Windows Server
5. Manage networks and cloud-based infrastructure
6. Assist in managing suppliers and equipment procurement

The successful candidate will have:

• Extensive cloud knowledge and experience with Azure Virtual Desktop implementation
• Proven experience supporting cloud-based infrastructure in a similar role
• Proficiency in M365, Exchange, VMware, and firewall management
• Strong networking knowledge (Ethernet, VLANs, routing, switching, IP addressing)
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
