Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking an AV Technician (Installation) to join a growing theatrical design and installation business. The role involves travelling across England to set up audio visual equipment, LED stage lighting and sound systems for theatres, studios, universities and churches.

You will work with a close-knit team, receive on-the-job training to become a multi-skilled engineer, and be part of projects across England with a Monday to Friday schedule (8:30 to 5).

Qualifications

• AV Technician with installation experience.
• CSCS card and full UK driving licence required.
• Willingness to travel around England and stay away from home when needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up AV and other equipment for installs.
• Assemble studios and stages for events.
• Travel nationwide across England with occasional overnight stays.
• Work on heights and ensure installations meet client expectations.

AV Technician (Installation)

Are you an AV Technician with experince in installation who wants to work for a growing company within a close knit team setting up stage equipment all over England, who will provide on the job training to become multi skilled engineer?

On offer is the opportunity to join a growing theatrical design and installation business who have worked all over England for over 20 years setting up stages for theatres, studios, universities and churches among other venues. They are looking for an AV Electrician to join their team and assist with technical instillations.

This role would see you travel the country setting up audio visual equipment, LED stage lighting and sound systems at a variety of sites. You will be working within a team to set up these systems, lending a hand to other works when needed to ensure that projects are completed on time and in line with customer expectations.

This role would suit an AV Technician with experince in installation who wants to join a growing theatrical design and installation company, with on-the-job training to become a multi-skilled engineer and the opportunity to work on stage installations across England.

The Role:

• Setting up AV and other equipment
• Assembling studios and stages
• Monday to Friday - 8:30 to 5

The Person:

• AV Technician or similar
• Happy with travel around England and overnight stays
• Comfortable working at heights
