A leading company in London is seeking a Site Technician to manage audio, video, and lighting systems for high-end corporate events. The role involves setup, operation, and derigging of equipment, ensuring seamless event execution. Hours: 37.5 hours per week (flexible schedule; weekend and bank holiday work may be required)
About the Role
As a Site Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and derigging audio, video, and lighting systems at high-end corporate events across London.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate sound, lighting and video equipment at various venuesRigging and de-rigging equipment safely and efficientlyPreparing and maintaining equipment in the warehouseLoading and unloading trucksTransporting equipment to and from venuesConducting PAT testing on equipmentProviding excellent on-site technical support and troubleshootingCollaborating with event managers and clients to deliver seamless events
Requirements
Previous experience as an audio visual technician or similarFlexible with working hours with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays where requiredTechnical knowledge of PAT testing (advantageous)Ability to work under pressure and solve problems independentlyFull UK driving licence
Package:
Salary between £27K - £28KOvertime rates up to 1.5XAnnual bonuses30 days including bank holidaysOyster card for travelAccommodation and food covered whilst working awayMedical health care planHoliday increases with length of service
