Job summary

Presidio is seeking a technically adept AV Solutions Architect to join our UK team. The role focuses on designing audio systems, gathering customer requirements, and providing pre‑sales technical support alongside sales colleagues.

You will produce BoMs and CAD drawings (GAs, MEs, elevations, rack layouts), coordinate with PMs, and ensure smooth integration with other trades while delivering post‑sales troubleshooting and support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Audio Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in the commercial AV industry.
• Thorough knowledge of AV products and systems: audio, video, control and IT.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Gather customer requirements and provide pre‑sales technical support with sales.
• Design AV systems meeting client needs using appropriate products.
• Develop BoMs and proposals ensuring correct products and quantities.
• Coordinate with CAD to produce GAs, MEs, elevations, and rack layouts.
• Work with PMs to ensure design intents are met and carried out.
• Engage with trades to ensure smooth system integration.
• Manage RFIs and CRs during the project lifecycle.
• Maintain logs and distribute information to relevant parties.
• Offer post‑sales support and assist with troubleshooting.
