Job summary

Presidio in the UK is seeking a technically adept AV Solutions Architect to design audio systems, stay abreast of the latest products, and support consultative selling. You will work with sales to translate requirements into scalable, commissionable solutions.

You should have a Bachelor's in a technical field, 5+ years in commercial AV, and hands-on experience with CAD, AV hardware, and IT integration. This role offers collaboration with project teams and post-install support to ensure

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Audio Engineering or related field.
5+ years in the commercial AV industry, with design/commissioning experience.
Thorough knowledge of AV, IT, control systems and related products.

Responsibilities

Gather customer requirements with sales to provide pre-sales technical support.
Design systems that meet client needs using appropriate products and technologies.
Develop proposals and BoMs to ensure correct products and quantities.
Coordinate with CAD to produce GAs, M&Es, Elevations and relevant drawings, schematics and rack layouts.
Coordinate with Project Management to ensure design intents are met and implemented.
Engage with trades and contractors to integrate systems smoothly and manage RFIs/CRs.
