Job summary

Creative Technology UK is seeking an Electronics Service Engineer to inspect, diagnose, repair, maintain and test AV and LED display equipment within our rental inventory. You will work with Operations, Technical Managers, On-Site Engineers, and other Service Engineers to keep equipment reliable and project-ready.

The role requires strong electrical fault-finding skills, experience with three-phase power systems, soldering and PCB tracing, and a solid grasp of electrical safety standards.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with three-phase power systems (desirable).
• Competent in soldering and PCB fault tracing.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety standards.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Good IT skills and experience using service/asset management systems.
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Flexible approach with the ability to respond to operational demands.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, fault-find and repair LED displays and AV equipment.
• Perform board level and component repairs, soldering and hot air rework.
• Maintain and service power distribution, including 400V three-phase systems.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and testing for reliability.
• Support site deployments with field repairs and troubleshooting.
• Maintain repair and inventory records, including certification.
