Job summary

NEP Group Inc. is seeking an Electronic Service Engineer on a fixed-term basis to inspect, diagnose, repair, maintain and test Audio Visual and LED display equipment within Creative Technology UK’s rental inventory.

You will collaborate with Operations, Technical Managers and On-Site Engineers to ensure project-ready gear meets safety and quality standards. The role involves diagnosing faults, performing board-level repairs, maintaining 400V three-phase systems, and conducting routine compliance

Qualifications

• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with three-phase power systems (desirable).
• Soldering and PCB fault tracing capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Proficient IT skills and experience with service/asset management systems.
• Excellent organisation and prioritisation.
• Flexible and adaptable to operational demands.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, fault find and repair LED displays and AV equipment.
• Perform board level repairs and soldering.
• Maintain power distribution systems including 400V three-phase.
• Conduct safety testing and compliance checks.
• Take ownership of PAT testing and certification tracking.
• Ensure repairs are tested and ready for deployment.
• Maintain repair management and inventory records.
• Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers for parts and support.
• Support training and knowledge sharing within the team.
